Windows to the Past Guest House is a one of a kind 1870 Victorian home. This post Civil War home will certainly remind you of what life truly was like during the Lincoln Era. The ornant French Doors, the wooden celing, and the amazing stained glass will make you marvel at the dedication of craftmanship from this long lost era.
Years of Hosting & Innkeeping
My name is Walt Chorle. I have ten years of experience owning the Centennial Rose Bed & Breakfast along with the several years here renovating and establishing this unique lodging option near Happy Valley. I also have ten years working in professional sports and five years ushering locally for PSU Athletics, the Bryce Jordan Center, and the State College Spikes! Tourism is a special interest that I can share with our guests.
Windows to the Past Guest House Details
The guest house is fully equipped. We have on site laundry, first floor central air conditioning, a full kitchen, and 8 beds with linens. We can accomodate large groups up to 12 people. There a 3.5 bath rooms incliuding a giant Victorian Dressing room with shower and sink inside. We do not offer cable tv or telephone service (these can be ordered in your name for long term stay clients). We are within walking distance of a giant Weis Market and the historic Rowland Theater!
